Young people today face a host of complex challenges that even a few years ago, did not exist. Growing inequities, new technologies and increased violence in our schools and towns... These are just a few of the trends reshaping the development of our youth today.
As they grow and develop our youth are making key decisions for their future every day...Decisions impacting their health, relationships, work and overall development. In today's world of 24/7 competition for our attention there is no shortage of opportunity to find one's self feeling lost and on a wrong track.
Enlisting the support of a professional can be a transformative step for the healthy development of your child.
Do you lack interest and/or energy for doing activities you used to enjoy?
Do you find yourself choosing screentime over being with friends and family?
Have you noticed unwelcome changes to your physical and emotional wellbeing?
Nature deficit disorder is a phrase coined by Richard Louv in his 2005 book, "Last Child in the Woods", meaning humans today, especially children, are spending about 90 percent less time outdoors as was the norm just a few decades ago. Resulting in a damage to our health on all levels.
In today's experiences of remote work, online school, Zoom fatigue, video gaming, Netflx binging, social media, etc...we live in a state of bombardment with disturbances to our natural state of wellbeing.
In effort to address and counteract these damaging impacts I offer the option of coaching and counseling sessions at local outdoor venues where nature plays an important and powerful role in the restoration of one's natural biorhythms.
This format can be especially supportive to those struggling with experiences of ADD and/or ADHD.

But you can start where you are and change the ending."C.S. Lewis
